| Call Summary San Antonio’s multi-disciplinary two-night arts festival is scheduled for October 23 & 24, 2015. Luminaria invites you, your gallery, your collective, or other creative organization to show your work. Submit an artistic proposal by June 15th to be part of this edgy celebration of contemporary arts in downtown San Antonio, Texas. Project Proposals will be evaluated on their overall professionalism, creativity, originality, and innovation. There is only one application form to submit, whether your work is visual, performance, literary, musical, environmental, film, dance or a combination of artistic genres. Please use our on-line application process to submit your proposal. |

| Project Description All works must be created specifically for Luminaria, unless Luminaria is also its Texas or US premiere. Art work sales are not permitted at the festival. Because Luminaria encourages site-specific work, it would help for you to know that we are planning Luminaria 2015 for the River North Neighborhood. The San Antonio Museum of Art will be our anchor and partner. Featured art will be installed along Jones Avenue, in and out of the riverbeds, the alleys, and the businesses, with the footprint crossing Broadway and including the soon-renovated Maverick Park. Stay tuned for more specific locations. |

| Timeline Upon successful completion of the application process, you will receive a confirmation email. On or by June 15th, we will contact you with the results of this year’s open call for proposals – we may decline, accept or wait list your application. Presenting artists for Luminaria will be invited through direct invitation or commission, as well as acceptance through this open call for proposals. Final programming for Luminaria 2015 will be announced in August. |
