| Call Summary Palm Springs International Airport is the premier access point for the Coachella Valley. As part of the Airport’s ongoing plans to positively impact the traveler experience through art, the Airport Art Program is announcing an opportunity to create unique, large-scale, digital art that will be printed on heavy duty vinyl and installed in unique locations at the airport. |

| Budget Description 5 artists from this call will be invited to develop full proposals and be compensated $1,000.00. Selected artists (1 or 2) will be awarded a $5,000.00 commission. Printing and installation costs will be covered by the client. |

| Selection Information | ||||
| Selection Process Submissions to this open call for qualifications will be evaluated by the art curators on the project who will present a shortlist of artists to the review committee. The review committee will select five finalist artists and invite them to develop comprehensive concepts for the project. The invitation includes compensation for proposal development. |

| Selection Criteria Artist Required Criteria: + Open to visual artists with a demonstrated track record of successfully taking projects from ideation through to final installation. + Demonstrated experience with creating unique, contextually relevant, wall-scale flat art is highly preferred. + Previous experience with large format digitally produced, printed, and installed art is preferred. Portfolio Submission Criteria: + Submitted examples of previous work must include documentation of completed and installed works. + Submissions of only mockups will not be considered. |

| Timeline 2/25: Call Opens 2/25 - 3/10: Question Period. All questions must come through the art curators on this call, Group Creative Services.
