The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture was established in 1985 to support, champion, and promote the local arts and culture community to make Phoenix a great place to live, work, and visit. The agency's Public Art Program continues to be a national model for involving artists in designing and building a better city. By fostering collaborations among artists, engineers, architects, landscape architects and other urban designers and thinkers, the program enhances the look, feel and function of a wide range of public buildings, spaces and infrastructure.

The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture is proud to launch its first-ever Pre-Qualified Artist Roster for Murals. This new resource is designed to connect artists with opportunities to design and install murals throughout our city. Residents, business owners, and city departments can use the Roster to discover and hire talented muralists for commissions and projects—bringing more art into both public and private spaces.
